Separate sources are currently reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt have found takers for Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe and Niels Nkounkou. Both players are set to depart their Bundesliga club on loan after a series of busted transfers over the course of the summer and both loans contain purchase options.
Fabrice Hawkins reports that Ebimbe is headed to Stade Brest on a season-long loan with a €7m purchase option. The 24-year-old has been excluded from SGE training for most of the summer and always been free to negotiate his departure.
The case of Nkounkou is quite different. The French Olympic representative returned to head coach Dino Toppmöller’s good graces during training camp and received a start in Eintracht’s opening round Pokal fixture.
The RheinMainAdler have nevertheless been actively looking to offload him throughout the summer and are prepared to take advantage of a good opportunity accorded them by FC Torino. The Serie A outfit want to take Nkounkou on permanently.
Kicker confirms a Sky Sports Italia report concerning the nature of the deal. Torino will pay Eintracht a €500,000 loan fee. A €5m automatic purchase clause tied to a low number of appearances will then be triggered over the course of the season.
