Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are exploring a deal for Augsburg defender Felix Uduokahi as they look to bolster their defensive options.
Frankfurt are looking for central defensive options as they look to replace the now-departed William Pacho, who joined PSG earlier this week. Frankfurt have recently been linked to PAOK defender Konstantinos Koulierakis and so are beginning to look at other options.
The 26-year-old wants to leave Augsburg this summer and has one year left on his contract, meaning Augsburg would need to sell him this summer for a decent fee. Last season, Uduokhai played in all but one game for Augsburg as they finished 11th in the Bundesliga.
With the new season only one week, central defence is not an immediate concern for Frankfurt as they have Robin Koch, Tuta, Nnamdi Collins and Aurèle Amenda who can all play centrally in Frankfurt’s opening DFB Pokal game against Eintracht Braunschweig next Monday.
