
According to Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt and Mainz are close to reaching an agreement on the transfer of Jonathan Burkardt.
After lengthy negotiations, Eintracht Frankfurt and Mainz 05 finally appear to be close to finalizing a deal for Jonathan Burkardt.
According to Bild, the two clubs could reach a final agreement on Tuesday, with the transfer fee expected to be around €25 million.
Burkardt is expected to sign a contract with Eintracht lasting until 2030, reportedly worth €2.5 million per year plus bonuses.
The 24-year-old striker comes off an outstanding season with Mainz, which saw him score 18 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances.
He made his senior debut for Germany in October 2024.
