Former Gladbach boss Max Eberl looks set to take the reins as RB Leipzig sporting director in January.

Max Eberl is expected to take over the vacant position as RB Leipzig sporting director from the start of January, according to Kicker.
Despite his resignation at the end of January due to mental exhaustion, Eberl is still under contract with Gladbach until 2026.
Negotiations with Borussia Mönchengladbach about a transfer fee are understood to be progressing, with the two clubs reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement.
Eberl could be announced as new Leipzig sporting director following Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Gladbach.
