Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund have turned down VfB Stuttgart’s approach for Alexander Meyer.

Borussia Dortmund have rejected VfB Stuttgart’s interest in goalkeeper Alexander Meyer, according to Bild.
The German tabloid writes that Dortmund are happy to keep the 32-year-old as their second-choice goalkeeper behind Gregor Kobel.Meyer himself is also said to be happy at Dortmund.
Stuttgart will therefore have to turn their attention to other targets in their search for a replacement for Florian Müller, who is set to join Freiburg.
André Moreira (27, Grasshopper Club Zürich), Patrick Drewes (30, SV Sandhausen), Philipp Köhn (25, FC Red Bull Salzburg) and Tobias Sippel (35, Borussia Mönchengladbach) are some of the goalkeepers who have been linked with Stuttgart.
Florian Müller started the 2022/23 season as Stuttgart’s number one, but lost his place to Fabrian Bredlow.
