Borussia Dortmund are so desperate to get Nico Schulz off their books that the 30-year-old would be allowed to leave for free, according to Bild.
Schulz hasn’t lived up to expectations following his €25 million move from Hoffenheim in 2019, and hasn’t made a single first-team appearance this season.
Now, with one year remaining on Schulz’s contract, Dortmund are reportedly ready to let the left-back leave without receiving a fee for him.
Schulz reportedly earns a fee of €6 million per year.
