With his contract with Borussia Dortmund set to expire in the summer, Marcel Lotka has recently been touted as a possible successor for Kevin Müller in the Heidenheim goal.
However, the 23-year-old has decided to turn down the chance to join Frank Schmidt’s team, according to Kicker.
Lotka, who has been in goal for Dortmund’s second team this season, has also been linked with FC Köln.
The former Hertha BSC goalkeeper hasn’t played a single game for Dortmund’s first team since joining from the German capital club in the summer of 2022.
He made 10 Bundesliga appearances for Hertha before making the switch to BVB.
