Per Sky Germany, BVB are looking at Inter Milan’s Edin Dzeko, PSG’s Mauro Icardi, FK Krasnodar’s Jhon Córdoba and Hertha BSC’s Krzysztof Piatek as potential short-term replacements.

Sébastien Haller is currently out of the team due a potentially cancerous tumor and while the club have high hopes he can return to the pitch soon, Dortmund brass are forced to discuss possible short-term options. BVB are looking at four players in particularly that would fit the squad’s current needs:
Inter Milan’s Edin Dzeko, PSG’s Mauro Icardi, FK Krasnodar’s Jhon Córdoba and Hertha BSC’s Krzysztof Piatek.
One of these veteran forwards would be acquired on loan if a move were to transpire. However, no offer has been made for any attacker as Kehl & co. are only discussing what steps forward could be taken if need be. Let’s hope the tumor is benign and Haller can return to full health shortly, as he looks to lead BVB into the new Bundesliga campaign.
