Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has put pen to paper on a new contract with Borussia Dortmund, committing himself to the Bundesliga outfit until 2025.

“It was always my goal to continue the path I had begun with BVB after corona and a couple of injuries,” said Bynoe-Gittens, who scored his first goal for Borussia Dortmund’s senior team in Friday’s 3-1 victory over Freiburg.

“Now I can’t wait to keep working hard on myself and my game to hopefully help the team in the months and years to come.”

Sporting director Sebastian Kehl added:

“Speed and creativity have always distinguished Jamie, and with his unpredictability in one-on-one situations he adds a very special element to our squad even at his young age.

“It’s fun to watch him work on himself and his game. We don’t see this development coming to an end by any means, and we will give him the time he needs.”
