Bayern have discussed the possibility of bringing Harry Kane into the club next summer, according to Sky Sport reporter Florian Plettenberg. They also contacted his brother and agent, Charlie Kane, as the 29-year-old striker could “really imagine” joining the Bavarian club.
Tottenham are adamant that Kane will sign a contract extension, but Bayern are working hard to delay any new deal from being signed. If the Bayern brass feel a true no. 9 is needed, they will go after Kane, who’s deal in England expires in 2024.
Hasan Salihamidzic and Julian Nagelsmann reportedly “love” Kane, but they will wait and see what happens on the pitch this season. If the feeling is clear that a veteran striker presence is necessary next summer, the trophyless forward will become a very hot topic.
