Matthijs de Ligt returned to training with his teammates on Thursday, Bayern Munich have confirmed.
The 24-year-old, who has been sidelined since early November with a knee injury, completed parts of the team’s training session.
This marks another step forward in the Dutch defender’s recovery, but he will need a little more time before he can return to action.
De Ligt sustained the injury in Bayern’s DFB-Pokal defeat to Saarbrücken on November 1.
The German champions next face Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Sunday evening.
