Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Alphonso Davies, but could they really bring the Bayern Munich star to the Spanish capital this summer?

Real Madrid have approached Bayern Munich regarding the possibility of opening negotiations for Alphonso Davies, according to Marca.

According to the Spanish daily, Real Madrid representatives have already visited Munich twice for talks with Davies’ camp.

However, according to Sky Germany, Bayern are not interested in letting the Canadian wide man go this summer and are unaware of any talks between his management and Real Madrid.

Bayern looked set to sign Davies to a contract extension beyond 2025, but negotiations have been put on hold since club bosses Hasan Salihamidzic and Oliver Kahn were sacked on the final day of the season.

“It’s a chaotic time at FC Bayern at the moment,” Davies’ representative Nedal Huoseh confirmed to Bild about a week ago.

“I’m not sure what’s going on and who we’re dealing with. There seems to be too much instability and uncertainty about the direction of the club. Maybe it’s better to wait until 2024 and see how things develop with the club before we sign a new contract.”
