Germany’s main sporting tabloid reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are prepared to make a play for defender Jordan Beyer.
Meanwhile, other sources report that OGC Nice and West Ham United are competing for the services of Nico Elvedi.
Moving Beyer may still not prove a wise moves, if other reports are to be believed. Apparently, one of Gladbach’s starting defenders is being hotly courted by both West Ham United and OGC Nice. West Ham have already made an offer for Swiss international Nico Elvedi, as per Blick magazine in the defender’s native Switzerland.
France’s L’Equipe adds that Elvedi’s Swiss compatriot and former Gladbach trainer Lucien Favre wishes to bring Elvedi to OGC Nice. Both the French journal and the Swiss source do note that a stay in Gladbach, where Elvedi still has a contract until 2024, also remains a strong possibility.
