France U21 manager Thierry Henry has revealed his squad for the upcoming international break. Les Bleuets will face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, October 13 as well as Cyprus, four days later, as part of their campaign to qualify for the 2025 U21 European Championships. Henry’s stint as Les Bleuets boss got off to a flyer with two convincing wins against Denmark (4-1) and Slovenia (4-0) last month.

Chelsea duo Malo Gusto and Lesley Ugochukwu have been recalled by Henry. PSG midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery, who has been lauded by France boss Didier Deschamps, evidently made the cut. AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche, who stunned Olympique de Marseille, with a classy brace last week also got the nod. Bayern Munich supersub Mathys Tel, who scored again coming off the bench in the Champions League on Tuesday against Copenhagen, has received his first-ever call-up.
Henry will have plenty of options up front with the inclusions of in-form strikers such as Rennes’ Désiré Doué and Lens’ Elye Wahi.
