While Inter are now set to sign Romelu Lukaku, the Blues could get an extra bonus due to a special clause.
It has been reported that the parties are about to close a loan deal which will see the Blues pocket about €8 million plus bonuses, with the Belgian set to go back to the club which sold him for big money in the summer of 2021.
Alfredo Pedulla has now reported that Inter had to complete the deal before the end of June for financial advantages and they are set to complete it well before that date. While it is a €8 million operation, the calls between the two clubs are underway to sort out of the final details of the move.
Inter had proposed a bonus of about €2 million initially but it has been reported that the bonuses will increase if the Nerazzurri win the Scudetto next season and it could potentially be doubled.
