Several names at Borussia Dortmund are on the chopping block in summer, Sky Germany suggest.
Perhaps most alarmingly club captain Emre Can and Julian Brandt, both of whom enter their final year under contract next season, might not be offered extensions.
Continuous inconsistencies in both players’ performances continue to draw criticism from the media and fans.
Elsewhere, all three of Giovanni Reyna, Salih Özcan and Niklas Süle could leave the club despite their contracts running until 2026.
Austrian international Marcel Sabitzer, whose current deal runs until 2027, is also believed to have no future at the Rührpott giants.
Loan players Sebastien Haller (FC Utrecht) and Youssouffa Moukoko (OGC Nice) are not part of BVB’s plans going forward.
In an extreme scenario without European football, individuals like Jamie Gittens, Karim Adeyemi and Gregor Kobel could be sold to cut losses.
