Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho (h/t Sky Sports).
The Red Devils are actively looking to sell the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window to generate funds for new recruits.
They suffered a setback recently as Chelsea opted against signing the winger on a permanent deal.
Sancho was underwhelming during his season-long loan with the Blues, scoring just three goals in 31 league games.
Chelsea have paid a £5m penalty to send the forward back to United after failing to agree personal terms.
Dortmund have asked to be kept up to date with developments on their former player’s future.
Sancho played for the Black and Yellow between 2017 and 2021, during which he scored 50 goals in 137 appearances.
His excellent displays in Germany earned him a £73m move to Man Utd. However, he failed to replicate his form, registering just 12 goals in 83 matches.
After falling out with former United boss Erik ten Hag, Sancho returned to Dortmund for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.
He played a pivotal role in their run to the Champions League final, starting seven matches in the competition.
Staying at United doesn’t look to be an option for Sancho, who made himself unpopular among the club’s supporters with his controversial social media comments.
