Carlos Baleba (21) has expressed his desire to join Manchester United, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. The Premier League club tried to sign the Cameroonian international midfielder during the summer transfer window but were put off by Brighton’s demands for his services.
The Seagulls have revealed their latest stance on a potential sale. Brighton would be willing to sell Baleba, but only if their asking price is met. Tavolieri understands that this is believed to be in the region of €85m. It remains to be seen whether any interested club would be willing to meet this asking price.
Bayern Munich also interested in Baleba
Manchester United are not the only club interested in the Brighton and Hove Albion defensive midfielder. Bayern have also expressed an interest in signing the 21-year-old. However, given the large fee that the Premier League outfit is commanding and the player’s desire to move to Old Trafford, the Bavarian club are reluctant to make a move happen.
