Julian Brandt is fired up to show his best performances for Germany ahead of the World Cup in Qatar in November.
“I’ve set my sights on showing the best side of myself and earning playing time,” the Borussia Dortmund midfielder told Kicker.
“When you’re just before such an important tournament, you should seize the opportunity,” he added.
Germany will face Hungary and England in their upcoming Nations League games.
Brandt played 13 minutes across four games when he was last called up to the German national team in June.
