According to Bild, Borussia Mönchengladbach are looking to replace transfer flop Hannes Wolf with Ibrahim Osman from Danish side Nordsjaelland this winter.
Gladbach have already begun talks with Nordsjaelland over Osman, who only joined the club at the beginning of this year. Since moving to Denmark, Osman has played 16 times in the Danish Superliga, scoring once and assisting four times whilst the 19-year-old has also featured in the Conference League.
While Wolf will be allowed to leave the club on a free transfer in the winter, Gladbach would like to save the salary of the 24-year-old which is worth around €1.5m. Since moving to Gladbach from RB Leipzig, Wolf has struggled to live up to the potential that he had when he arrived.
Injuries have not helped the Austrian but when he has played he has struggled to break into the starting 11 and his cameos have been nothing special.
