According to Bild, Borussia Mönchengladbach has three candidates lined up to replace Daniel Farke, with it looking increasingly likely he will be dismissed at the end of the season.
The first option is an internal promotion, current under-23s coach Eugen Polanski could be the man to replace Farke. However, the rebuild at the club could potentially be too difficult for the former player to handle which brings doubt to the people in charge at Gladbach. In his first season coaching Borussia Mönchengladbach II, Polanski led them to a third-place finish in the Regionalliga West.
The other two options are former Bayer Leverkusen manager Gerardo Seoane and Ralph Hasenhüttl who last managed Southampton but has also managed Ingolstadt and RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
Both Oliver Glasner and Lucien Favre are not candidates. Outgoing Eintracht Frankfurt boss Glasner will cost too much money for Gladbach. While the relationship between Gladbach and Favre has been damaged after he had agreed last summer to rejoin the club but instead moved back to Nice.
