Kicker report that Borussia Dortmund’s Marcel Lotka (23) has turned down a move to fellow Bundesliga side Heidenheim with FC Köln also showing an interest in the Polish goalkeeper.
Lotka joined Die Schwarzgelben from Hertha Berlin in 2022 but is yet to make a single first-team appearance for the club and now in the final six months of his contract, is expected to leave Dortmund. One club also showing an interest, per kicker, is Köln who are preparing for the likely departure of Jonas Urbig (21), with Bayern Munich leading the race ahead of Bayer Leverkusen to sign the German youth international.
Marcel Lotka ranked as one of the best goalkeepers in the 3. Liga
Playing for Borussia Dortmund II in the 3. Liga, Lotka has played 72 games, conceding 92 and has kept 22 clean sheets. Kicker further note that with an average rating of 2.93 in 14 league games for BVB II this season, the Pole is ranked in the top 10 goalkeepers of the 3. Liga.
