Colombian side Bogotá FC have confirmed that Gustavo Puerta (19) will join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, subject to the youth international completing a medical examination.
B04 will pay a reported €1m to sign Puerta, who will sign a contract until 2027. According to Sky Germany, Puerta’s medical will take place in Colombia in the next few days.

Puerta represented Colombia U20s at the ongoing South American Championship and scored the equaliser against Brazil on Thursday, but wasn’t in the squad that beat Argentina 1-0 overnight.
The Colombian has represented his country at youth level 19 times, scoring three goals.
Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen yesterday announced the signing of Patrick Pentz (26) from Stade Reims as an understudy to Lukáš Hrádecký, following a long-term injury to Andrey Lunev.
Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen host Borussia Dortmund on Sunday as Die Werkself look to close the gap to those clubs chasing European football next season.
