Jan-Niklas Beste has emerged as a doubt for Heidenheim’s upcoming Bundesliga clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Heidenheim are sweating over the fitness of Jan-Niklas Beste ahead of their trip to Mönchengladbach on Saturday.
The 24-year-old has picked up a knock in training that could keep him out of Saturday’s clash at Borussia-Park.
“Jan-Niklas Beste twisted his ankle in training. He couldn’t train yesterday,” said Heidenheim coach Frank Schmidt at a press conference on Friday.
“We have to wait and see if he will be available.”
Beste’s absence would be a big blow for Heidenheim, as he has been involved in eight of their 12 Bundesliga goals this season (4 goals, 4 assists).
