Bayern Munich are apparently attempting a late swoop to hijack Granit Xhaka’s move from Arsenal to Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Swiss publication 4-4-2.ch, the Bavarians have offered the 31-year-old midfielder a three-year deal with an option for a further season.
However, Xhaka is still said to prefer a move to Bayer Leverkusen, who have been linked with him for some time.
The 31-year-old, who has one year left on his current deal, has strongly hinted at a summer move away from Arsenal on Instagram, posting a picture of himself waving with the caption “Nothing but love for you all”.
