Waldemar Anton and Ronald Araujo are the latest central defenders to be linked with Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich have reportedly targeted Waldemar Anton in their search for a new centre-back.
According to Sky Germany, the Bavarians are keeping a close eye on the 27-year-old Stuttgart defender, who they are “very impressed” with.
Wolfsburg and Leverkusen are also said to be interested, but Stuttgart would prefer to keep their captain, whose contract expires in 2025.
The German media outlet also reports that Bayern are interested in Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo.
Bayern have reportedly been tracking the 24-year-old for two years and remain keen, but Barcelona are determined to keep hold of the Uruguayan defender, who is under contract until 2026.
Manchester United’s Raphael Varane and Arsenal’s Takehiro Tomiyasu are also thought to be on Bayern’s radar.
