RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons is the latest player to be linked with Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich have expressed interest in signing Xavi Simons, who is looking to leave RB Leipzig this summer, according to The Athletic.
At this stage, Bayern have only made an inquiry, with formal negotiations yet to take place between Bayern and Leipzig.
Leipzig paid €50 million in January to make Simons’ loan from Paris Saint-Germain permanent.
Reports have previously suggested a fee in the region of €70 million would be needed to sign the Netherlands international this summer.
Bayern are in the market for attacking reinforcements, having missed out on Florian Wirtz, who opted to join Liverpool, and Nico Williams, who chose to stay and extend his contract with Athletic Club.
Liverpool’s Luis Díaz and Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade are reportedly high on Bayern’s shortlist.
