Bayern München are understood to be keeping tabs on Gladbach forward Marcus Thuram.
According to Sport1, Bayern’s new chief scout, Markus Pilawa, went to Sunday’s game between Gladbach and FC Köln to take a look at Thuram, who scored the last goal in his side’s 5-2 derby victory.
25-year-old Thuram has eight goals in 10 competitive games this season and is out of contract in the summer.
Bayern are said to be keen on bringing in a new striker in the summer, and Thuram is seen as an option. For the time being, however, Tottenham forward Harry Kane remains the preferred candidate.
