Serge Gnabry suffered a left hamstring strain against Arsenal, Bayern have confirmed.
Serge Gnabry scored Bayern Munich’s opener in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal before going off with an injury in the second half.
Following a scan, Bayern Munich have now confirmed that the winger has suffered a muscle strain in his left hamstring.
The Bavarians didn’t give an exact timeframe for his recovery, saying only that he is “out for the time being”.
But the return leg against Arsenal at home in a week’s time will definitely come too soon for the 28-year-old, as Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel said last night.
