Bild reports that Bayern have opened talks with Juventus about signing Matthijs de Ligt.

Bayern München have reportedly opened talks with Juventus over the signing of Matthijs de Ligt.

According to Bild, Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic met with Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini in Milan yesterday.

During the meeting, “both parties made their expectations clear”, but they haven’t begun concrete negotiations yet.

According to Bild, Juventus have set an asking price of €75 million, which is negotiable.

De Ligt is said to have agreed personal terms with Bayern and has therefore put talks with other clubs on hold.

The 22-year-old central defender has two years left on his contract with Juventus.
