Kicker reports that Bayern Munich will look at their lack of a recognised striker in this upcoming transfer window and new coach Thomas Tuchel is also aware of the issue.
Currently, Bayern use Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting as their number nine which has proved relatively successful this season as the 34-year-old has scored 17 times in 34 games.
While Bayern have tried to use Sadio Mané as a number nine but it has not worked while Mathys Tel is only 17 and his current future under Tuchel is unknown as a loan move could become an option.
There have been four strikers that Bayern have been linked to. Harry Kane was Julian Nagelsmann’s ideal signing, but since his departure doubts over Kane have arisen over his age as he nears 30 and the transfer fee which could be close to €100m. Randal Kolo Muani and Victor Osimhen are both being watched by Bayern with Osimhen being discussed last season at Bayern. While Dušan Vlahović was previously an option but is not a concrete candidate at the moment.
