Bayern Munich are being linked with a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

Bayern Munich have added Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi to their list of transfer targets, according to Sport Bild, TZ and Sport1.
It’s reported that Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund and his scouting team are keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old, who could strengthen the club at the number six position.
As for the winter transfer window, however, Bayern want to prioritize getting a new central defender before possibly moving for a defensive midfielder, TZ claims.
According to Sport1, Zubimendi has a €60 million release clause in his contract, which expires in the summer of 2027, with the Spanish club hoping to keep him at least until the end of the season.
Zubimendi came through the youth ranks at Real Sociedad and has gone on to make 159 appearances for the first team.
He has made two appearances for the Spanish national team.
