FC Bayern München have confirmed that Omar Richards has left the club to sign for Nottingham Forest.
“It was Omar’s wish that we allow him to join Nottingham Forest. He sees the opportunity to become a first-team regular at a Premier League club in his home country,” commented Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic.
“Forest are getting a very good player and a lovely guy, who will forge ahead. We wish him all the best.”
Bayern receive around €8.5 million for Richards, who made 17 appearances for the German champions.
