Raphael Guerreiro suffered a ligament and capsule injury in his ankle against Stuttgart, Bayern have confirmed.
Bayern Munich have announced that Raphael Guerreiro will miss the “coming games”.
Scans have shown that Guerreiro sustained a ligament and capsule injury in his ankle during Saturday’s 3-1 loss to VfB Stuttgart.
Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel already said after the final whistle that he fully expected the 30-year-old to miss Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal return leg against Real Madrid as a result of the injury.
Whether Guerreiro will be able to feature for Bayern again this season is highly doubtful.
The 30-year-old Portugal international will be hoping to be fit in time for Euro 2024.
