Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has praised Florian Wirtz, describing him as a “great player”.

Florian Wirtz has been consistently linked with a move to Bayern Munich since breaking into the Bayer Leverkusen first team.
Now 20, there is speculation that he could be on the move after next year’s European Championship, with several other top clubs also keeping tabs on him.
Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen did nothing to downplay the links to the Wirtz when approached by Sport1 to give his opinion on the youngster.
“Great player,” Dreesen said.
Asked if he’s a player Bayern could sign in the future, Dreesen smiled and said:
“We’ll see.”
Wirtz scored a fantastic solo goal and added an assist in Leverkusen’s 2-1 win over Freiburg at the weekend.
In total, the attacking midfielder has found the net five times and provided eight assists in 13 games this season.
