Bayern München have reached an agreement in principle with RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer, according to Bild.
Per Bild, Laimer has told Leipzig that he will join Bayern either now or next summer, at which point his contract expires.
According to reports, Leipzig are demanding around €30 million to let the defensive midfielder go this summer.
Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco recently said he wants Laimer’s future to be sorted out as soon as possible.
“He’s our player and that’s how I’m planning. If there are changes, it won’t be on August 28. There are deadlines,” Tedesco told reporters.
25-year-old Laimer joined Leipzig from RB Salzburg for €7 million in 2017.
