An insight into the plans of the powers that be at Barcelona for youngster Álex Valle has today been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Marca journalist Luis Rojo, who points towards Valle’s form across the season to date as being set to be rewarded.
Defender Valle, for his part, has spent the term to date out on loan, with Segunda outfit Levante.
The move came in a bid to secure regular first-team experience for the 19-year-old, long regarded as a potential star in the making in Catalunya’s capital.
And, all told, Valle’s time at the Estadi Ciutat de València has since proven to be a success.
Across Levante’s 26 league outings to date, the Spanish youth international has featured from the off in 21, impressing at both left-back, and left wing-back.
And, evidently, such endeavours have not gone at all unnoticed amongst those back at his parent club.
In fact, as per the aforementioned Luis Rojo, so impressed have the Barcelona coaching staff been with Valle’s progress, that they are preparing to integrate him into the first-team setup at Camp Nou next season, as competition for Alejandro Baldé.
Before then, though, contract renewal talks have been pencilled in, ahead of the expiration of the starlet’s current Blaugrana terms in the summer of 2025.
