The latest training session held by La Liga giants Barcelona on Tuesday confirmed some altogether encouraging news on the personnel front.
This came by way of the presence of Fermín López back in group activities.
Youngster Fermín has of course spent the last couple of weeks condemned to the sidelines.
This comes owing to a muscular injury suffered late in a 3-0 La Liga victory over Getafe. The midfielder, in turn, has been forced to sit out each of Barcelona’s last four fixtures across all competitions.
As alluded to above, though, on Tuesday, Fermín took a significant step back towards competitive action.
As per a report from Diario Sport, the 22-year-old took his place back on the grass at the Ciutat Esportiva for part of Barca’s training session this morning.
All going according to plan, Fermín should therefore be back available for selection for the Blaugrana’s post-international break return against Girona.
