Barcelona star Ronald Araújo has seen his value on the transfer market drop considerably over the course of the last year.
That’s according to Diario AS, who have this week provided an insight into the situation.
Stopper Araújo is of course fresh off something of a difficult campaign in Catalunya’s capital in 2024/25.
After spending the opening half of the term sidelined, the Uruguayan was the target of heavy criticism on the part of the Barcelona faithful upon his return.
This came owing to a string of shaky performances in high-profile fixtures.
And such woes, it would appear, have had a considerable impact on how Araújo is viewed across the continent.
Just last summer, the 26-year-old was linked with a massive €100 million move to Germany with Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich.
As per a report on the part of AS this week, however:
‘His market value is currently around €35 million.’
