La Liga giants Barcelona are expected to welcome a headline member of the club’s attacking ranks back into their starting XI to face Club Brugge on Wednesday.
That’s according to a whole host of reports, which point towards Robert Lewandowski as the player in question.
Frontman Lewandowski is for his part fresh off his return from a spell on the sidelines.
After several weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, the Pole was introduced off the bench this past weekend, against Elche.
Speaking as part of the pre-match press conference ahead of Barcelona’s return to action in the Champions League later today, Lewandowski confirmed that he is back fully fit and firing, ready to start if required.
And as alluded to above, the former Bayern Munich man looks set to have his wish granted against Club Brugge, amid widespread confirmation that ‘Lewa’ is primed to slot back into the Blaugrana’s frontline in Belgium.
