Barcelona now consider Juventus star ‘a key player’ on their transfer list

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are growing increasingly serious about the signing of Juventus star Dušan Vlahović.

The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements at centre-forward with a view to the 2026/27 campaign.

This comes ahead of the expiration of Robert Lewandowski’s contract terms.

With a renewal for the aging Pole all but ruled out, Deco and co. have therefore been left to scour the market for a replacement.

And gaining weight all the time in the race to join Hansi Flick’s squad is the aforementioned Dušan Vlahović.

Frontman Vlahović is also due to see his contract terms end next summer, ahead of an impending departure from Italian heavyweights Juventus.

With Barcelona’s financial constraints common knowledge at this point, the Spanish champions have therefore earmarked the Serbian as a market opportunity.

As per a report from Fichajes, Vlahović is now considered ‘a key player’ on the Camp Nou transfer shortlist, viewed as something of a ‘priority’.

Talks over a pre-contract agreement, in turn, could well be opened with the 25-year-old’s entourage following the turn of the year.
