Representatives from La Liga giants Barcelona in attendance at Wednesday’s Europa League final were left nothing short of ‘amazed’ by the display of one Atalanta star.
The player in question? Ademola Lookman.
Wide-man Lookman of course took his place centre stage in the headlines across all of Europe late last night.
As much came by way of a Man of the Match performance, en route to leading his side to just the 2nd piece of silverware in the club’s history.
Lookman racked up all three of his side’s goals in a 3-0 triumph, in the process shattering Bayer Leverkusen’s historic unbeaten streak, too.
And, as alluded to above, dazzled by the exploits of the former Everton man on the night were representatives from Barcelona.
As per a report from Diario Sport, Blaugrana pair Deco and Bojan Krkić were in attendance at the Europa League showpiece in Dublin.
And, with the Catalans known to be on the lookout for reinforcements on the left flank with a view to next season, the pair could not help but take note, no doubt adding Lookman’s name to their lengthy list of potential targets.
