La Liga giants Barcelona managed to find the net on more occasions than any other side across Europe’s top-5 leagues in 2024.
As much has today been confirmed by statisticians Squawka.
The Blaugrana, across the 2nd half of last season under the watch of Xavi, and the first half of this under Hansi Flick, managed to find the net on an altogether impressive 96 occasions.
This comes in large part owing to the contributions of star front three Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski.
Barca’s 96 goals are four more than were managed by 2nd-placed Bayern Munich this year, though it should be noted that the Bundesliga campaign features four fewer games per team than La Liga.
Rounding out the podium are Serie A outfit Inter Milan, who racked up 89 goals in 2024, alongside Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Barcelona’s Clásico rivals Real Madrid, both of whom notched 89 times, too.
