
The Croatian marksman bids farewell to Die Fuggerstadters.
Dion Beljo is joining Croatian record champions GNK Dinamo Zagreb with immediate effect, FC Augsburg confirmed via a statement.
Both clubs have agreed to keep the terms of the transfer confidential, as the 23-year-old returns to his homeland which was a move he desired.
Beljo joined Augsburg in January 2023 and made a total of 45 appearances for the Fuggerstadters, providing 5 goals and 3 assists.
“After his loan to Rapid Vienna at the start of pre-season, we offered Dion a perspective at FCA and held several discussions.
“After constructive discussions with Zagreb, we were able to find a solution that suited all parties and granted his transfer request.
“We wish Dion all the best and much success in his future endeavors,” said Augsburg’s managing director Michael Ströll.
