After leaving Borussia Dortmund, Marius Wolf is joining Augsburg.
FC Augsburg have completed the signing of Marius Wolf on a free transfer.
The versatile 29-year-old moves to the WWK-Arena on a contract until 2027 after his contract with Borussia Dortmund expired.
“I’m looking forward to being able to continue on in the Bundesliga with Augsburg after my departure from Dortmund,” Wolf commented.
“I see FCA as a club with high ambitions, who are prepared to give it everything on the pitch. It’s a great fit for me, because I want to do everything I can to help the team with my style of play.”
Augsburg sporting director Marinko Jurendic said:
“Through hard work and talent, Marius Wolf has been able to enjoy an impressive career that has seen him play for Germany as well. He’s a real team player who will contribute attacking impetus to our team, along with his energy and mindset.
“In signing him, we have been able to provide ourselves with an additional option on the flank, both in attack and in defense. We’re pleased that Marius has made the decision to join us and wish him all the best for a strong start and successful time at FCA.”
