Premier League side Aston Villa could make progress in a move for Milan’s Charles de Ketelaere despite their first offer being lower than the Rossoneri’s asking price.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today claim that Milan want €30 million to sell the Belgian but Villa’s first offer will not go that far. Their first approach will be of €25 million and they are reflecting on making that. If the Premier League side decide that the player is worth more, they are likely to increase their offer and an agreement could probably be reached mid-way.
Talks between the sides have taken place and Milan are waiting for the English side’s proposal to come in. They are the only team that have come so far in the race for the Belgian. The Rossoneri believe that other clubs can still come in and the money earned from the sale will be used to sign more players this summer, as they continue to wait for the sales of Ante Rebic and Divock Origi.
