Former Inter, Juventus and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is interested in the possibility of joining Milan.
Conte was linked with a move to Napoli some montths ago but he was on a sabbatical and decided that he wanted to spend more time with his family.
SportItalia state that Conte to Milan is a concrete idea, with the Italian interested in a potential move to the Rossoneri. Milan are also interested, even though no direct meeting has taken place between the two parties so far.
As of now, Geoffrey Moncada and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are keen on making sure that Conte becomes the club’s next manager, but they would have to convince Giorgio Furlani, who is thinking about a future with current Bologna manager Thiago Motta for multiple reasons.
Conte’s priority remains Milan, even though he held meetings with Napoli out of respect for Aurelio de Laurentiis. The reason why Furlani, for now, prefers Motta is because of the Bologna manager’s age, wages and squad construction.
