Angry Ginge Calls Carlos Tevez a ‘T***’ After Soccer Aid

YouTuber and Manchester United fan Angry Ginge has hit out at Carlos Tevez following their clash during Sunday’s Soccer Aid at Old Trafford. While Tevez stole the show by scoring four goals for Rest of the World XI, it was England XI’s Ginge who was named Player of the Match.

The 23-year-old, who pulled off a superb goal-line clearance from Brazilian legend Rivaldo and provided an assist for Jermain Defoe, put in a full-blooded tackle on Tevez during the closing stages of the charity match. Tevez appeared to react before the pair slapped hands and got on with the game.

“There was a little bit of afters,” commentator Sam Matterface noted before replays of the incident were shown to viewers. After the match, Angry Ginge posted a screenshot of the injury Tevez had inflicted on him.

Angry Ginge (real name Morgan Burtwistle) showed Tevez had left him with a nasty-looking gash down his right leg. The Salford-born Twitch streamer wrote: “Cheers Tevez. T***”.

It’s clear that Tevez left one on Angry Ginge following that firm (but fair) tackle with the scores locked at 4-4. It may have been a charity game in aid of Unicef but there was no love lost between the two sets of players at times.

England were 2-0 up at half-time thanks to goals from Wayne Rooney and Toni Duggan, but the introduction of Tevez at half-time turned the game on its head. The former Argentina international, who famously swapped Manchester United for City in 2009, showed no mercy to celebrity goalkeeper Paddy McGuinness, sticking four goals past the former Take Me Out presenter.

The scores were level at 4-4 with just under 10 minutes remaining before rapper Big Zuu popped up with an unexpected winning goal for Rest of the World XI. The 29-year-old hit the Cristiano Ronaldo ‘SIUUU’ celebration, much to the delight of the crowd and millions of viewers at home.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), Angry Ginge posted: “I don’t know how to process what just happened at Soccer Aid but I love you all. Thank you for coming thank you for chanting and thank you all for donations. Over £15 million is mental Love you all.”
