Despite Angelino impressing at Hoffenheim, the Sinsheim club didn’t want to activate the left-back’s €20 million buyout option to sign him permanently from RB Leipzig.
According to Kicker, the Spaniard is now available to other clubs through a €20 million release clause, but Leipzig have yet to receive any offers for him.
After a successful loan spell, Angelino joined Leipzig permanently from Manchester City in the summer of 2021 for a reported fee of €18 million.
He made 35 appearances for Hoffenheim last season, scoring once and providing 12 assists.
