Two of the more high-profile arrivals at La Liga outfit Sevilla this summer have been made aware of the squad numbers which they will make use of this season.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards César Azpilicueta and Alexis Sánchez as the pair in question.
Veteran performers Azpilicueta and Sánchez, both 36, put pen to paper on short-term deals in Nervion this summer.
As much came after the expiration of their respective terms with Atlético Madrid, and Udinese.
Azpilicueta and Sánchez, in turn, have since gone on to link up with their new teammates in Matías Almeyda’s squad.
And as alluded to above, this week, the pair have been handed their jersey numbers for the campaign ahead.
As per a report from MD, ‘Azpi’ is due to take ownership of the no.3 left vacant by Adrià Pedrosa over the summer.
Ex-Arsenal and Barcelona man Sánchez, meanwhile, has inherited the no.10 shirt most recently worn by the now-departed Dodi Lukébakio.
